A fast track arts program for organizations with budgets of $500,000 or less.
Through January 10, 2021, this application will be available to non-Metro (Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas) organizations only, with two exceptions, including those not funded by Miller in the past and those primarily serving communities experiencing disproportionate impacts of Covid-19.
Organizations can apply for a one-year general operating support grant.
The foundation determines the grant amount, based in part on a percentage of your annual budget.
The maximum grant awarded through this program will be $25,000.
Beginning January 11, 2021, the Fast Track program will open to arts organizations in all counties statewide, including the Metro area. We particularly encourage arts organizations who have not received funding from Miller in the past to apply.
We have created a new Letter of Inquiry (LOI) process for all education and arts applicants with budgets of $500,000 or more or for smaller-budget arts organizations seeking a grant award of more than $25,000.
The purpose of the LOI is to give a quick answer to potential applicants as to whether or not their request closely aligns with Miller Foundation funding priorities.
If an LOI is approved, an applicant will be invited to submit a full application.
We encourage potential applicants to review our FAQ’s.
While Miller staff have historically been available to answer questions, with this temporary program we are not able to talk with potential applicants individually prior to submission.
