Fast Track Arts


Letter of Inquiry


A fast track arts program for organizations with budgets of $500,000 or less.


Our Fast Track program is currently open to arts organizations in all counties statewide, including the Metro area. We particularly encourage arts organizations who have not received funding from Miller in the past to apply.


  • Organizations can apply for a one-year general operating support grant.

  • The foundation determines the grant amount, based in part on a percentage of your annual expenses.

  • The maximum grant awarded through this program will be $25,000.


We have created a new Letter of Inquiry (LOI) process for all education and arts education requests, as well as for arts applicants with projected annual expenses of $500,000 or more or  for smaller-budget arts organizations seeking a grant award of more than $25,000.

All applicants applying via fiscal sponsorship should also complete our LOI.

The purpose of the LOI is to give a quick answer to potential applicants as to whether or not their request closely aligns with Miller Foundation funding priorities.

If an LOI is approved, an applicant will be invited to submit a full application.
