Attracting new audiences, retaining existing audiences, and staying connected with communities are some of the most difficult work undertaken by arts and culture organizations.

Join Metropolitan Group for free workshops designed to help arts and cultural leaders across Oregon create messages and experiences that respond to the expectations and interests of diverse audiences.

Here's what you can expect:
 
Intro to Creating Connection (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

An overview of the background, messaging, tools, and application. This workshop is applicable for executive leadership, communication staff, and program leads. Please bring a recent communication piece (e.g., ads, brochures, social media posts, or annual letters) to practice applying the Creating Connection message frame.
 
Stakeholder Engagement Workshop (1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.)*

A hands-on training session for those who want to learn how to engage with diverse stakeholders (such as millennials, people of color, women, and parents with young children). Note: If you have not attended a Creating Connection workshop in the past, please attend the 9 a.m. session that precedes this workshop. *This session includes lunch.
