FAST TRACK ARTS GRANT

Providing grants of $25,000 or less for Oregon arts organizations during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This temporary program will run from November 2020 to June 30, 2021. We will accept rolling applications in two rounds. We anticipate a maximum two-month turnaround from application to grant award.

Organizations receiving a grant award through this program are not eligible to seek additional funding from the Foundation for ten months following the date you submit your application. 

BASIC ELIGIBILITY

  • Organizations with current annual operating budgets of between $25,000 and $500,000 are eligible. Grant award amounts will range from 3-6% based on your annual operating budget and alignment with our funding priorities.
     

  • Organizations asked to take a year off after consecutive years of Miller funding ARE eligible to apply.
     

  • Organizations with current open grants with the Foundation are NOT eligible to apply.

 

TIMELINE & ELIGIBILITY WINDOWS

ROUND 1:  November 2020 - January 10, 2021

In Round 1, the following are eligible to apply:
 

ALL arts organizations in Oregon's non-metro counties
(excludes Washington, Clackamas and Multnomah counties)

Arts organizations in Oregon's metro counties (Washington, Clackamas and Multnomah counties) can apply if they meet either or both of the following criteria:
 

  1. Have never been funded by the Miller Foundation 

  2. Represent and primarily serve communities disproportionately impacted by the pandemic (as defined in the state's Equity Framework

​ROUND 2:  January 11 - June 30, 2021

In Round 2, we are inviting applications from ALL OREGON COUNTIES and from organizations representing and serving ALL COMMUNITIES. Organizations with prior Miller funding are welcome to apply.

FAST TRACK AWARD AMOUNTS

  • Grant award amounts will range from 3-6% based on your annual operating budget and your organization’s alignment with our funding priorities.
     

  • The grant awards will range from $1,500 to $25,000 maximum. If you are applying more than three months from the end of your fiscal year, grant awards will be based on your current fiscal year budget.
     

  • If you apply less than three months before the end of your fiscal year, grant awards will be based on your next fiscal year budget.
