We hope this spring finds you healthy and hopeful. We are writing to remind you of our current funding opportunities, available through June 30, and hope you will help us spread the word. These opportunities are pilot programs launched last fall as part of our Foundation’s efforts to offer fast and flexible support for the communities we serve during the dual crises of the pandemic and wildfire impacts. Over the summer, we will be evaluating our pilot programs and will launch our next funding cycle in late September 2021.
Grant Programs
In the meantime, if you haven’t yet applied, we continue to welcome applications for Fast Track Arts Grants as well as Letters of Inquiry for both arts and education funding. We are reviewing all applications on a rolling basis through June 30, 2021.
Our Fast Track Arts Grants offer a single year of general operating support for arts organizations with annual budgets under $500,000, with a maximum award of $25,000. Our two-step Letter of Inquiry process is for arts organizations with annual budgets over $500,000, or for organizations of any budget size seeking multi-year grants or annual amounts over $25,000.
Education and arts education organizations with budgets of any size should apply through our two-step Letter of Inquiry process for education funding, which prioritizes efforts that address immediate and pressing needs for K-12 students, teachers and their families during this challenging time.

State Funds for EducationA final note those for those of you working in education, especially those serving Oregon youth of color, youth from low-income families, and youth from under resourced rural communities. Our fellow funder Oregon Community Foundation will be granting $41.2M of state funds for summer academic and enrichment programs to help address the social, emotional and educational toll on students because of the pandemic.
